Graciously decorated and furnished to the highest standards the single rooms are private and spacious. A sanctuary I could truly call my own. They are full of home comforts, with en suite facilities and telephone/TV points. The emergency call system is a reassuring reminder that I would have the expertise of the Supreme team at my fingertips. The view of the rolling Yorkshire countryside left me hungry to discover more of The Terrace's charms.I pass seamlessly from the original property of 1850 into the newer, purpose built wing, Linden House. Dining rooms, a bar and even a hairdressing salon were echoing with the sound of merriment. I imagined myself holding court with my new friends in one of the numerous cosy lounges. I sit by the French doors to ponder the many ladies whom lunched gazing over the same unspoilt view back in the 19th Century and consider whether I will spend most of my time discovering hidden artistic talents with friends or relaxing on the peaceful sun drenched terrace, happy that, as ever, the choice and decision would be entirely mine.
