supreme care homes - making a difference

The Terrace Care Home

I was promised a fusion of 19th Century architecture with modern day comfort and as we turned into the old stone entrance I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed. The statuesque building had a commanding presence. Beyond the immaculate grounds I could see the ancient castle of Richmond and the stunning countryside that seemed to stretch forever. I had found my country retreat, yet it was conveniently situated on the edge of town.

The Terrace was once a grand hotel, as I entered there was no denying that the ambiance remained. Drawn to the impressive staircase I glanced up and a spectacular chandelier took my breath away. Such attention to detail is the essence of craftsmanship that is so significant to The Terrace. The sense of space and grandeur quite remarkable, creating an opulent and inviting place to retire. As I was guided through the luxurious lounges, the atmosphere was warm and hospitable. The family of staff and residents were friendly and welcoming. I instantly relaxed. I felt at ease. I couldn't fail to feel at home.
