From the moment I entered it was evident that great attention had been paid to detail and time taken to ensure the fine balance between sympathetically combining the property's historic style and personality with modern, superior quality facilities. It was apparent a wealth of knowledge and experience accumulated in the planning and creation of Dickens House. I marvelled at the stunning but simple design, high specification and finishing touches. I could picture my favourite chair placed by the huge, impressive stone windows, the light cascading over me as I watch the world go by.All rooms are spacious and perfectly proportioned, a blank canvass ready for the injection of my individual style. The security offered by the high tech video entry system was welcomed. I reflected on the building's history and wondered in which room Charles Dickens penned his great novel, Nicholas Nickleby. This beautiful, completely self contained suite could be mine and mine alone. I could see myself here.
